Sandwich & Breakfast Burrito Ingredients: In the pictured LUNCH one, I used:
  • Spicy WrawP (Thrive Market online)
  • Spicy hummus
  • Shredded carrots
  • Shredded red cabbage
  • Sauerkraut of choice
  • Thinly sliced bell pepper
  • Chopped chicken
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Spices of choice
For a BREAKFAST one, I have used:
  • Sweet WrawP (Thrive Market online)
  • Spicy hummus
  • Bacon
  • Avocado
  • Raw sharp cheddar cheese
  • Sauerkrautof choice
  • Scrambled egg
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Spices of choices
Directions: So everything here is pretty self explanatory because of the picture...but there are a few tips to make it work right:
  1. The wrap needs to soften otherwise it's like either (a) make this the night before and start with a coating of the hummus all over the WrawP (the moisture from the hummus will absorb & soften the WrawP overnight), then wrap in parchment paper...OR, (b) run the WrawP under water quickly and lay it on parchment paper & let it sit for a few minutes until it softens...sometimes I still need to add some additional dampness from running my hands under the water & spreading it on the WrawP.
  2. It's the "all over" first layer of hummus (or something else of the same consistency) that acts as the "glue" and holds it all together....and softens if made the night before. Leave about 1 inch of just hummus on the "short sides" of the rectangle. The hummus will "seal it shut".
  3. Fillings: chop relatively finely so things like chicken aren't too bulky. And sprinkle evenly over the center section, leaving a section of hummus only on the ends.
